MOVING AROUND LONDON!

Our trip to London is coming, and we have started in our English lessons a London Project, the first day we were working with the tube map of the city, moving around town, and discovering the different stations, zones and things we can visit in each area.
It´s being a very nice way to know London better, and how to move around the underground city.
We have travelled from one place to another explaining the routes we have to follow.

Nuestro viaje a Londres se acerca, y por eso hemos empezado en las clases de inglés, un proyecto sobre Londres. En la primera sesión conocimos el mapa del metro, moviéndonos de un lugar a otro, conociendo las diferentes estaciones, zonas y cosas que se pueden visitar en cada una.
Está siendo una manera muy interesante de conocer la ciudad bajo tierra.
Hemos viajado de unos lugares a otros del mapa explicando que ruta teníamos que seguir en cada ocasión.

WRITING

Every week we spend some time doing writing activities, the Jolly Phonics (the phonics methos we are using this year) workbooks are good materials for year 1 and 2, but the eldest of the class are writing grammar.

This month we are learning the use of ver to be in written activities, and how we can start to translate sentences by ourown!

Todas las semanas utilizamos tiempo para actividades escritas, los cuadernos de trabajo de nuestro metodo de fonética Jolly Phonics son muy adecuados para 1º y 2º, pero con los mayores de la clase, estamos escribiendo gramática.

Este mes estamos aprendiendo el uso del verbo ser en actividades escritas, y cómo podemos empezar a traducir frases ¡nosotros solos!

LONDON IS COMING!!!!!!

Yes!! We are travelling to London next month!! The trip is being planned these days and little by little we are designing an amazing tour around the city of London.

From Zaragoza ' s airport to London Standsted. 

We cannot wait to start it!!

The first thing we have done after booking the flight was buying tourist guides to know everything about the city before arriving there.

APUNTA LA FECHA

La fecha elegida es el próximo 28 de febrero desde el aeropuerto de Zaragoza hasta London Standsted. 

¡Estamos deseando comenzarlo!

Lo primero que hemos hecho nada más reservar el vuelo ha sido comprar guías turísticas para saber todo de la ciudad antes de llegar allí.

PENGUIN-TOYS

We are back!

These first days we have been talking about toys and in our English lessons we have read the book Penguin, a story based on a toy who finally turns into a live animal. We have been working the story, the characters and the video.

Estos dias hemos estado hablando de juguetes y en nuestras clases de inglés hemos trabajado la historia de Penguin. La historia de un juguete que se convierte en un animal real.

Merry Christmas!!

The term has already finished and now its time to relax and enjoy next to our families and friends.

We have said goodbye with our traditional celebration in the Pabellon and it has been a sucess with the musical Nightmare before Christmas. Our students have worked very hard to achieve the great performance they have done! So, well done for them.

Phonics in infants

Hello again!
our Infant students continue learning new sounds with the Jolly Phonics Method and in our last sesión we were distinguishing the initial sound of words and matching them with objects and animals that start with the sound learnt. They did a very good job and they pay a lot of attention on the activities we performed.

Hola de nuevo,
nuestros estudiantes continúan aprendiendo nuevos sonidos con el método Jolly Phonics y en nuestra última sesión, estuvimos distinguiendo el sonido inicial de las palabras y uniéndolas con objetos y animales que empezaran por el sonido trabajado. Lo hicieron realmente bien,  y prestaron mucha atención en las actividades que llevamos a cabo.

Blending sounds

Blending is one of the essential skills for reading and needs to be taught from the beginning. It needs individual blending practice and that's part of what we do in our Tuesday sessions. In the following video you can watch our students reading aloud words of  phases 1 to 5, from our Jolly Phonics material.
