Always #likeagirl

This subject is not really an English one, but it's been and interesting activity carried out by our Educational Community, and I want to share it with you in this blog too.
We have realized a social experiment based in the video Always #likeagirl 2014, to be aware of when the expression "like a girl" has became an insult or at least something pejorative. We have asked to different people how do girls act in different situations, an their answers have been very interesting.

Using Duolingo App

Today our pupils from year 4-5-6 have used Duolingo App in our school tablets. This is a funny app and very useful to review and learn more English.

If you have time you can download it to your tablet or smart phone, and play whenever you want. It's easy to use and you can enjoy practising your English.

Hoy los alumnos de 4-5-6 han usado la aplicación de Duolingo en las tabletas del cole. 

Es una aplicación muy útil para revisar y aprender inglés.

Si teneis tiempo podéis bajarla a vuestra tableta o móvil y practicar cuando queráis. Es fácil de usar y es muy entretenida.

Our school

The last week we have been working about places at school. We have labelled our school to know and review the names in English: the toilets, the ICT Room... and in Year 1-2-3 class we have made up our own school! Here is the photo that proves it!

La semana pasada estuvimos trabajando las estancias de la escuela. Hemos colocado carteles en inglés dentro de cole, para aprender y repasarlos en inglés: baños, sala TIC... y en la clase de 1º 2º 3º, ¡creamos nuestro propio colegio! Aquí esta la foto que lo prueba.
